Thank you, everyone, for your replies. All of the components are slight issues right now ... not drinking QUITE enough ... getting plenty of protein in the morning, but then not concentrating on it so MUCH later in the day (when I have the worst problem with "munchies"). Also, as Laura pointed out, I'm not really EATING FOOD yet ... and am kind of "tired" of mushy stuff... AND ... hormones, AND, a most difficult Christmas time, emotionally.

So ... I'm glad I posted ~ I've taken mental note of the reminders of things I know to be true... and am doing better already today.

Thanks so much, again ...

I would say eat more protien and water.
You have let your mind catch up to your new pouch or you may not get to use your tool as much as you can.
The beefits of the early days will be wasted and the chance of loosing all your weight may become far more difficult to acheive.

Refer to the pouch rules for early post op and remember this is it! You have to use your own will to make this work. This is not a magic solution, only a tool. Awonderful tool for you to use with your own capacities and you can do it!!

Your mind wants what it once had, but you can change your old habits with your new tool!

Go for it!

Drink that water and up your protien, shoo the hunger as what it is...old habit..say good bye to it and look forward to the new you!!
