Today is the first day since getting home that I have taken a pain pill=surgical site pain. I think that's pretty common, as the layers heal. Try some warm compresses, tylenol or whatever works, wearing your binder may help, avoid lifting. I'm going to try some Vita E on the incision when I dress tomorrow. Have a good Christmas!

I know this is a late reply to this subject,but I just learned about this site last week from Cathysdream. She and I had the suregery on the same day at the same hospital. I have read a lot of the posts here and am glad she told me about this site. Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I'm doing pretty well I think. Not sure if I'm eating enough, and I know I'm not drinking enough liquids each day. Thanks for all the info I've gotten from reading all the different posts. It has really answered a lot of questons I've had.
