Default Weird soreness

I have been having some soreness in my upper left back behind the shoulder. It feels like I just need a massage there, but it comes and goes.

Like I'll notice it and then it will be gone a few minutes later.

Anyone out there experienced anything like this?

i had experienced this on both sides of back, after the surgery. It affected my ability to sleep because the soreness traveled down my limbs causing numbness or tingling everytime I laid down. My husband continued to massage out the soreness and helped stretch that area of my back, after three weeks it went away.

My pcp says that it's a nerve behind the shoulder. She suggested some over the counter medicine.

Gerry,
I was having the same kind of thing when I went to my post-op with Kelly last week. She said it is because they had to manipulate things around so much when they were in there. Said the upper rib pain I was having was for the same reason. It is gone now.

Lightbulb Back Pain

Gerry:

I have been having mid-back pain off and on since about three weeks post-op. I was told that in some people, the back pain is caused by the shift in body weight and balance as we lose. Maybe this plays a role in your body pain too. Just a thought.

Smile Losing Pains

Gerry,

Dara is probably right. You get these weird losing pains that are probably caused in the shift in body weight, etc. I still get them upon occassion, and they only hurt for a second, I think to remind you that you had surgery..

Anyway, mine started in my back and Dr. Callery had me do stretching exercises to help that. Then my tailbone started hurting when I sat, so I stood a lot more (this was about a couple weeks out and I think it was just my reminder to get my butt up and walking... lol) Then I get those behind my ribs and stuff now. It's weird.. my equilibrium is off too.. way off.. I chalk it up to my shrinking self.. kind of weird though. I think you'll be ok but if it increases or gets worse please contact the Doc.. ok .. keep us informed as to how you are doing.. hope you feel better soon..

I'm getting a sharp pain under my left arm. It feels like the skin is being pulled when I try and sit. I figured it was random pain and am not worried.
