Unhappy Threw up blood

I just threw up a little blood. I ate something and it didn't sit well so I threw up, and after I threw up a once or twice I threw up blood.....is this normal???

I havn't had many things disagree with me.. ive only thrown up once.. so i dont know what to tell you.. probly contact your doctor asap..

To be safe I would go get it checked out to be safe. I wouldn't think just throwing up would cause bleeding unless there was something else going on. Better to be safe then sorry. I hope everything turns out OK.

Holly - Blood from either end can be a scarry thing - please check with your doctor to be on the safe side. You will be in my prayers - please let us know what happens!

Call the doc! I throw up at least once a week and I have never thrown up any blood. It may just be something aggravated from surgury but you need to get it checked out ASAP. Let us know how you are doing!

Yikes Holly....I hope everything is ok and hope to hear an update as soon as possible.

I only threw up a few times and I did throw up while I was in the hospital from a allergic reaction to the Morphine and it was all blood but at that point they told me it was ok as I was so new out of surgery. And since I have been home I threw up once and it was all clear..So I will be praying for you....
