Default I am sooooooo excited.......

I AM SO EXCITED, I MUST SHARE THE NEWS!

I finally was able to eat a meal tonight. I had an appetite finally! Phewwwwwww I had about a tsp of roast shredded and about a tsp of mashed potatoes and 2 bites of a peach. That is the most I have eaten in over a month. And it was a great feeling. I didn't feel sick, I enjoyed myself. Now I am just patiently waiting for the drink....I feel so thirsty now...This is the hard part...

Thanks for listening, I just had to share

Wow, that's great. I know you are so relieved. It'll all get better from here on out. Just remember to eat slowly so your pouch can handle it. I had trouble eating slow and it would signal fullness too soon for me. I never realized what a fast eater I was until after surgery. Keep up the good work.

Hi Marty,

Well today my appetite was not like yesterdays but I am not sweating it, I wa able to eat a nickle size amt of mashed potatoes and about 3 baby spoons of yogurt and probably a dime size of roast. Anddddd lots of water. I seem to be more thirsty today then yesterday but I am trying to get the food in. I am sipping a 2oz glass of unsweeted OJ right now and just doesn't seem to be liking my little pouch. Apple juice seems to be the best juice for me right now. But everything has a beginning and I am starting and that is all that matters!
