Hi-hi, y'all! Four days out...
Why didn't you guys tell me I would want to die after this surgery? There's just no telling how much pain is too much for one person and not for another (this makes no sense). And what about the clocks is the hospital? I Think they slow them wa-a-a-ay down. It's probably been eight days since the surgery but because of their playing with the time in there it's only four. I probably haven't lost any weight save the ounces and ounces of blood they drew about every 20 minutes or so (see, another example of that playing with time thingie...)
Good God, I hope someone out there appreciates my sense of humor!!
Anyways, I walked around the block this am. That wore me out but, wow, it felt good to have the warm sun on my back and to breate and enjoy life. I must saym however, I would sell my first born (21 years old and useless anyways) to have a B.M. Hey, sacrifices must be made!!
Take care.

Man, if I had only had that much of a sense of humor at one week out, I think my husband would have survived the process a lot better. I'm TOTALLY impressed, and LMAO. Too funny.

Welcome back! The reason we didn't tell you is that, well, basically because noone told us and it ticked us off and we just thought, hey, let'um all get surprised daggone it! It's kinda like a hazing ritual. Honestly, I felt like a truck hit me the first 2 days, then just bounced back like my old self. It sounds like you're doing pretty well actually......considering our trickery!
Hmmmmmm, trading a kid for a load of crap........well, my kids deliver me enough crap that I don't need to trade any of them off! lol Glad your humor is back.

I'm glad you are home and okay! It's good you have a since of humor about all this. I know how bad it sucks! I don't know if it is just hospitals that screw with time, I think dr's offices and labs and everything that has to do with medicine is like that. I think they have some kind of time warp thing going on. They must construct these places on some kind of nexus. Maybe if we did the time warp dance from The Rocky Horror picture Show just before entering a medical establishment we could break the warp? just a thought!
