Default shocked!

Just as I was wallowing in a poor me pity party, I had the brilliant idea to weigh myself. Keep in mind, this was middle of the day, after guzzling water weigh in. I am now under 250!! I'm down to 248 as of this afternoon. I haven't been this low since I was pregnant with my son....9 years ago!! I guess you could say the pity party is over. *dance*

Jenny I am glad you are getting your Mo-Jo back. It feels good to feel like everything you have worked for is paying off. Being at a weight you could never remember last being at, priceless. Keep up the good work Jenny.

Thanks everyone. This really made my night, as I was about to go to a party for my husband's ship and I knew no one. As for feeling better, I'm a tad queasy right now, but it's probably from the variety of things I ate at the party. . .goldfish crackers, a bite of cheese from a bad tasting pizza, a small bit of a brownie, and 2 celery sticks with the strings removed. I'm not supposed to be eating raw veggies yet, but I really wanted something other then crackers and water. It was really nice, there was a lady there who had had WLS 8 years ago and knew exactly what I was going through. We chatted a bit.

Congradulations Jenny. I was thinking that you should look into a support group for your husband's comand. Each ship has an ombudsman and they usually have family support meetings all the time. I volunterred as an ombudsman several years ago and it helped me stay involved with the ship and get to know the other wives.
