Wink he he Im a stinker!

Yup! Thats the key. You can fake rashes to with Prell hair shampoo I heard. Lather it in your "area" go to sleep and the next morning you should have skin rashes. I never did this but I hear it works. Also, if your breasts are sagging you can complain about shoulder pain and headaches.

If anyone has a pannus, pre op or not you should document "rashes" whether they came on themself or with a little help!

Blisters, Boils, whatever you have call your PTP for treatment.

It all depends on your doctor, too. My PS surgeon wrote awesome dictations for me and documented everything without me having to prove rashes nor pain. He said it is all in the way he writes up the letter...special insurance codes were the key for me.

Yup I agree with ya on that one Dale. I think Dr Katzen wrote a VERY special letter for me-first off you will want a plastic surgeon that you have good repoir with n stuff. I think thats imporatnat. Dont pick some butcher looking to make a buck, who doesnt even bother with insurance at all. I mean I understand the market is viable and many dont have to bother with insurance, but its sure nice if you have a surgeon that at least attempts to write ya a letter and take some pics!

I am so excited, my PS is sending me a CD with all my plastic surgery pics on it! Im morbid, lol! But I cant wait to see how much they cut off.... depressing to know that I have lots more to go...... sigh!

OK I do have awful shoulder and neck pain that tends to agravate the headack thingy.... and I never thought of prell you are a genius, sooooo does the documentation work for any surgery? like seriously I get terrible rashes in the folds of my arms where I was fat at and now it all just folds together and hangs and it actually causes me pain and itching at the same dang time and everyone knows you can't scratch a pain

Regarding the rashes you currently have: Call your Dr now and make an appointment for them. Fake a rash to ge in if you have to and then also tell other areas where you get rashes.

About the pain: At the Dr's office, (when your there showing off your rashes) tell them you are getting an increased amount of pain in ( areas ), that it has been going on for approximately 3 months, and you have been trying OTC analgesics, IE Motrin. Ask if perhaps you can get perscription strength Ibuprofen or some other type of pain reliever..... after about another 3 months of trying to control the pain thru meds, perhaps you can recommend physical therapy because your not improving with the pain, AND THEN wen physical therapy fails, it will more or less be looked at as a acute pain that your gonna have to live with....... BUT with your ongoing documentation of rashes you should be a shoe-in for PS!

Keep getting consistant refills of the stuff! If the perscriptions are supposed to last 30 days, make sure you call in for a refill! Even if you have plenty.

Good luck on beating the system! Fight the power! lmao!!!!

I just got back from my PCP and she to pics of a under pannus rash that I conveniently have right now. She said we will go for the insurance approval in about 3-6 months.

I heard if your excess skins totals as much as 10 lbs that's all the documentation you need. Maybe I heard that here, but not sure: anyone else heard that?

I didn't have 10 pounds of skin; I just had a very compassionate, awesome PS surgeon with great knowledge when dealing with insurance companies. I did hear that the amount of skin does help and the documentation of pain and rashes. I just want to let everyone know that there are so many possibilities out there and if one doctor can't help, I recommend consulting with many surgeons to see what they have to offer.
