Default Warning - Don't Drink Wild Turkey Straight

I went to a Pig Pickin the other night and left my brain in the car. Several times during the night I was handed jars of moonshine, bottles of Crown and politely turn them down. Then I was in the middle of a conversation with someone and was passed a bottle of Wild Turkey. Well, obviously not thinking, I took a big ole hit from that bottle. And baby, it was down hill from there. It combined with the wine I had been sipping on and I must say I have never had a drunk come on so quickly. I will spare you the rest of the story but i will not be "hootering" any liquor anytime soon.

Default Re: Wild Turkey

I had to respond to this. OMG Wild Turkey has been my drink for like the last few years, and I have a high tolerance for alcohol, so there were times when I'd finish more than 1/2 a bottle while others are drinking beer, wine, etc.. and get toasted.

Now I drink WT and can't get anything. I was just saying over dinner w/friends that (which not that I'm trying), but I don't know what it would take to get intoxicated now.

Interesting story Mike, funny how things affect everyone differently. I hope that my WT days aren't over w/.

Y'all are crazy! I tried my first shot of Wild Turkey in college and I swore I was going to meet Jesus. I got so sick that I prayed for death! I must be a major light-weight if you guys are putting away bottles and I can't even stomach a shot!

That's funny Jennifer.... Sorry to laugh at you, but I've been there with Goldschlogger (sp). I begged my friends to take me to the ER to get my stomach pumped. They didn't do it, because I pumped it all on my own...lol
