i got the samples but no scoop and the sample says its 1.5 scoops....

The scoop size is about 1.5 oz. The sample packs are half a scoop size. I add two scoops to 24 oz of water. So you would have to out 4 packs in to get 48 grams per day. Most stores will let you return it if you don't like it as long as there is more than 50% left.

Default Nectar

Holly, Where do you buy the Nectar? I have been using the Jay Rob egg white protein. It is sugar free and tasteless and has 24grams of potein per scoop. Frozen fruit works great in making shakes. 11/25/05 Even though I think it is almost tasteless the flavoring is vanilla. It is a very slight flavoring.

I get it at Vitamin Shop. You can also get it online. Google it and you will see what it is. I love it!

Can you mix yours with water only? Is it really tasleless???

Default Protein powder

Hi everyone,
The Egg White Protein is Vanilla Flavored, but to me there is almost no taste. I have not tried the chocolate. I made a small drink this morning with just water and it did not have much of a taste, maybe just a teeny vanilla flavor. I had no problems drinking the drink and it is not that chalky thick drink stuff I took before. I will typically mix the egg white protein with flavored waters and fresh or frozen fruit(I use 2 scoops to make 48 grams). Compared to some of the other protein powders I think this one is great or at least it is great for me. It's 100 calories, 0 fat, and 0 SUGAR, 0 Aspartame, no artificial sweetners and 24 g protein per scoop! I could not take the sweetness from the other powders. As long as you are not allergic to eggs I think this is a good protein source. Just my opinion and I know on this site we all have different tastes and opinions. The cost is $35.00 for 2 lbs at Henry's.

I like the RTD shakes. Met-RX makes one in a bunch of flavors that has 35 grams of protein. When I was early post op I would have 2 day to be sure I got in enough protein. I would put them in the freezer for 1/2 hr before drinking made them like s lushy and they stayed cold while it took me 1/2 hr to drink the 1/2 a can.

Good luck
Holly,
Where do you get the nectar? It sounds like a good thing for me to try.
