Red face Update on my itty bitty podmate, Dale...

I got an email from someone today asking how Dale is and was told to please come give a report, so, here I am, per the request.

I called Dale when I got home from work today, as I've been sending notes and not hearing back, but, after talking with her family the night of surgery, and then speaking with Dale the day after surgery, I know that she's had a really rough go of the whole thing this time... She had to stay in the hospital longer due to things turning sour.... they literally almost lost her... it was touch and go for a bit...
She's had a foley catheter in until today.. that's a pretty long time to be attached to that stupid bag! BUT, she said that "finally" she doesn't have that urge of having to "go" every 5 minutes like she did for so long... Thank the Lord!!
She's not spending much time at the computer because her boney little behind is so sore from the nerve endings being right there and she has no "meat" protecting them... she's in the most horrendous pain she said she's ever been in in her life... they're giving her Torodol injections and dilaudid... heavy duty stuff....

Please keep our little girl in your thoughts and prayers, she so desperately needs them all!!!!
I know that she'll be back when she can.. and she asked that I tell you all "hello" and thanks for thinking of her, I know she appreciates all your love and kind words.....

Hang in there little one...you have lots of people pulling for you~

Love ya bunches and bunches!!!
Your podmate and groove sista~

Unhappy Lord Bless Dale

OH NO, that's what I was afraid of! This is definitely NOT a case of "no news is good news." She's had soooo many surgeries lately. It's really miraculous she's made it so well so far.

Geez, we all need to pray for teeny tiny Dale. She's just a sweet, wonderful soul. She doesn't deserve all of the pain and suffering she's endured.

Sandi: PLEASE keep us informed. I'm so worried about her!

Just reading about Dale's ordeal brought tears to my eyes. She is a dear one and the thought of her having such pain and trouble is just not right. Is she at home or still in the hospital? If there is anything I can do to help her, I want to do it. If there is anything she needs, she's got it. Poor thing!!

I thought she was having a relativley simple, common procedure done. Oh gosh, to hear of another one of use having such complications. Leads me to believe that we really need to warn people to try to put off having any other surgery too close together after bypass. Keep fighting Dale. We're praying for you.
