Question Orange juice?

When is the earliest or when can I have Orange juice?
I LOVE Orange juice (especially) Naked Juice and I’m
going crazy thinking about having just a sip of Orange juice.
Help…..WHEN….please don’t say never!!!!

They told us to be very careful about citrus for the first 6 weeks at least. Ask at your 6 wk follow up appointment. If you have to have it (I understand if you do), dilute it waaaaayyy down.

Arrow Orange Juice

Joe:

When considering drinking orange juice, think of it this way. Have you ever gotten a bit of orange juice in a fresh cut on a finger or your hand? It is REALLY painful! Well, that's the condition of your pouch right now. OUCH!

I agree that if you just can't help yourself, I would dilute the orange juice with water to the point that the citric acid is neutralized.

Good luck and try to be strong. You will have the rest of your life to drink orange juice.

Default Low Acid OJ

I should have mentioned - the kind my sweet husband bought me is a store brand (Kroger) labeled "Low Acid" with added Caldium and Potassium. Guess thats what makes it easier to tolerate.

I drank a low sugar/no pulp OJ right after surgery with no issues. I actually liked it because it wasn't as strong tasting to me.
