No pics and I am actually pre-op but I wanted to let you know that I went from 225 to 104 (and gained it all back and then some in just a few months) a few years ago and the only place my skin was noticeably loose was my lower stomach. I think it depends on where the majority of your weight is and how your skin handled it. The only place I have stretch marks is on my stomach so maybe that can give you an idea of where you might have problems as you loose.

Default I agree Everyone is different -

However, the easy answer to this, is yes you will have "excess skin" no matter what. Your skins natural elasticity will return to what it is able to return to, the rest will for lack of better terms "hang" and it will hang hard, low, and possibly be painful to hold up (back stress etc.) I do have pics if you wish, they are very graphic on the size of the skin that needed to come off if you would like one please feel free : carolenn@vcmails.com I'd always help a fellow "loser" !! But remember everyone is different, just because my stomach skin was at my knees does not mean yours will be, and my "butt" was not at my knees but yours might end up there... It's ok, it's to be expected, make sure you talk to your dr. as often as you need to if you experience any pain with your "skin hanging low".
