Talking Spicyeyes made it home late

Hi All!
I wanted to let you all know I finally made it home later last night. I know some of you all were worried but I am much better. I was happy to meet those of you in the same time as me. I am sorry I wasn't more socialable but you know I was feeling horrible. Please don't hold it against me :-)
Anyhwo for those who weren' there... I had lap done at 7:30am Tuesday and then during the day I was hitting 9 on the pain scale and no drugs were helping so they took me at 6pm and did a open surgery (love the battle scar) and they found a bleeding artery. There was almost a quart of bool in side me, and not IN the right places. Well he sewd it up and made it better. Before the 2nd surgery they gave me 2 things of blood transfusions and endless IV bags. Over all I GAINED 16 lbs of fluid, not fun. SO everytime they tryed to pull blood they couldn't find a vein in my puffy arms so Now I ahve about 20-25 needle marks and a band aid brisue. That as weird but I ahve a bruise that is shaped like the band aid even with the tiny holes.
Ok so now I am home and need to go rest.I will write more later!
love to all who kept me walking those halls and keeping me motivated!!You are the best!

Hey there Sunshine, since you are one of my local peeps, I can set up a time to visit....if you are up to it. It's my little welcome to the other side initiation, if you want. I have a little something...I call it a "baby stapler basket" It's filled with some goodies.

Let me know, maybe next weekend you will feel up to it.

Smile Blessings to You

Sheri:

I'm so glad you made it through your surgery and the serious complication. Your experience is why it's so important to have a great surgeon.

Just remember to let your body rest and heal. You've been through quite a trauma.

Good luck with your recovery. Keep us posted on your progress.
