Question Weekend Support Group?

I'm really bummed that I can't make any of the support groups because they're all in the evenings during weekdays and I work from 1-10pm. I was wondering, since we're still trying to set up an East County group, is there any interest in having that on the weekends? I would love to have at least one group that I could go to, even if it's only once a month. Heck, I'd even be willing to host it at my house in Mission Valley if anyone would go for that

I second that thought. I work M-F 11a-7pm and up in North County. I'm doing nothing but gardening, swimming, walking, and exercising on the weekends. I need a break every once in a while

Thumbs up i would go

That sounds like a great idea Barb .... if your serious, send me directions date and time and I will be there! Early evening or late afternoon would work best for me, that way I can get my hands on the ex to watch the boys with me... like after 3pm if that works okay for y'all!?

Thumbs up Oh my lucky stars!

I seriously didn't think that anyone else would be interested in a weekend support group - I'm so thrilled that you guys are!

So, what do you guys/gals think of the first Sunday of the month? That would be 9/5, and it sounds like 3pm is a good time. I'd do it sooner, but I'm going to have family in town for the next few weekends, so we'll have a full house. If everyone's amenable to the date, then I'll contact the office and see about getting us added to the roster of support groups. I'll also do at least a post a week on the forum to help spread the word. Right now, I have enough seating for about 14 - if we grow beyond that, then we'll have to start thinking about a better site (or people can sit in the floor ).

I'm so excited!
