Default Need a new primary doctor

I have just moved to Rancho Bernardo and since I am very unhappy with my present primary doctor, I am looking for a new one.

I have Blue Shield and I am 1 year out of surgery. I want a doctor who knows about WLS patients and is plastic surgery friendly.

Does anyone have a doctor in this area they are happy with?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Red face He's not exactly in the area...

But, I love my primary care physician - he's been my doctor for almost a decade, and it was his idea that I have WLS, not mine. (So, I guess you could say he's WLS friendly!) He's in Kearny Mesa, and in case no one else has a better suggestion, here's his contact info:

James Killeen, MD
7525 Linda Vista Rd.
San Diego, CA 92111
Phone: (858) 277-2361

Ok my Dr is in San Marcos and like Barbara my Dr was the one that suggested I have WLS. I had no idea that I could even have the surgery. If you are interested I can give you his information. I will get his number and then post it on here.

My primary care doctor is great in every aspect except wls. He is against it.

I was referred to Dr. Callery by my endocrinologist instead, Dr. Chris Guerin in Tri-City area. Dr. Guerin is a great doctor. He showed me the way to better health.

I hope you find a primary doctor that approves wls. It will make the process much easier. Good Luck.

Default My Dr. is GREAT

Hey there,

My Doctor is located in Hillcrest. She is absolutely wonderful. Her name is Dr. Alma Harb. She is in the Scripps Mercy Medical Group. She definitely supported my WLS. I would greatly recommend her.

Private message me if you want her number.

North County Internist is a good group. They're located in the building next to Dr. Callery. I have Dr. Cottel. I hear Dr. Klein is also good there too.
