Default How Long do I wait afterwards?

I am wanting to put myself on a very strict regimine of exersize. I know that I can't lift more than 15lbs the first month (or two?), but what about other exersize?

How soon till I can run, swim, or bike?

Anyone have any experiance with this?

You want to stay away from swimming for a bit, as I was warned to not submerge my incisions. Can't remember how long they said to do it. I was also told to wait a month before lifting weights. Walking is great for the first month, after that I'd ask your doctor.

The first month all you'll feel like doing is walking. You don't want to mess up the healing process by overexerting youself. The first week is hell. The second week gets better. You'll be tired and weak most of the time until you can start eating a bit more and move onto soft foods. Pretty much stick to walking for first 2 months, perhaps longer if you have your procedure open. ANything more than walking uses your abs, which you're suppose to rest. If you do too much too soon, then you risk getting a hernia.

Well I don't want that. I guess I can wait just a bit on joining the gym. Save myself a month's worth of fees.
