question for long term post op people - ThinnerTimes

i am 2 1/2 years out. i went for a mamogram last week. they called me back to come for a follow up where they can do closer pictures as they said they saw on one side a lot of calcification. they said it could possibly be from rapid weight loss and just be fatty deposits. have any of you heard of this happening? it sort of freaked me out being that i have a history of different cancers in my family and my dad just passed away recently from esophgeal cancer.

I'm not long term post op, but I had a similar experience with my mamogram. They did a spot mamogram, then an ultrasound, and the radiologist said it was fat in between regular tissue that made it look strange. I'm hoping it's the same for you.

Rapid weight loss can cause calcium deposits. Follow up and see what they have to say.
