Oh man, i had what somone else had for their first meal after gastric... PINTOS and CHEESE from taco bell... ate about 3/4ths... now i know what full feeling feels like after gastric bypass a tad different... but ive been satisfied for hours now... pintos and beans is prolly a lil too high in fat to eat all the time but it was quite good, went out and bought a bunch of foods like string cheese deli meats cottage cheese stuff like that... felt good to have somthing that taste good hehe

Congratulations on your awesome weight loss! Being able to eat "real" foods is a tremendous boost. Just be careful with your choices. Now's the time to establish good eating habits. Take full advantage of it. When you're long-term post-op, you'll be thankful you did!
Good luck with your journey. You're doing a fabulous job!

Qweets, AMAZING job! I hope I do close to as well as you have done :-)
I, too, love me some beans and fritos :-) Naughty lil indulgence. Hope it agrees with you :-)

You darn guys and your super fast losses!!!! Congrats! That is great! Cottage cheese was a real life saver for me. be cautious with the deli meats, they can be quite stringy. I still have to be cautious with those. Chew very well! Puree what you can stand to puree! There is a reason the doc gives you those orders. We have a big variation of docs protocals around here and that doesn't mean anyone is wrong they are all just different, but you need to follow your orders! I have read some stuff people have ate early out and I'm not judging but there is no way I would have even tried it! I'm not preaching (okay maybe a little) I'm just concerned and don't want anybody to have problems over eating too soon!
