Default Lemonade OK for clear liquid diet?

I was wondering if lemonade, specifically Tropicana SF Lemonade, is ok for week 1 liquid diet. It isn't exactly as "clear" as the other liquids I've been drinking and lemonade does tend to have tiny particles in it. I'm asking because I love the stuff and really want to drink it right now!

Jared you really need to be careful of citrus and acids early on because they can have an effect on your staple lines. Be very careful of any citrus/citrus products. Stick to the sugar free Koolaide, Crystal Light, etc. Sugar free popsicles are a savior the first week as well, very soothing.

Crystal Light lemonade is good or try using the good old kool aid packets for now. You got to baby your little pouch for now!

Its been 2 weeks since my surgery and I made the mistake of trying orange juice. All I had was a sip or 2 and I felt terrible. I would not recommend it...

The Nurse Practitioner Kelly described it to us this way, "Would you rub lemons onto your sutures? It's the same thing if you drink citrus juices or eat an orange right now. Give yourself time to heal before you do that!"
