Default News from Dr. Appt today

Well the news is i am getting better. Although i am not getting enough protein. I usually only drink breakfast, and eat lunch, but have not been in the mood for dinner. Kelly says big no, no. I am not getting enough protein to help my body heal. It could be why i am so tired all the time also.?? But my o2 was good at 96, and my blood pressure was 120/77, which is good also. I am down to 249lbs today according to my scale at home.
I do feel better then last week, but i am still short on breath, and very fatigued. So i went to GNC and got some Isopure 0 carb drinks, hopefully that will add some protein, and energy. I was out and about today since 11:00 am, for me it was a long day. Still not sure how things are going to go come Tuesday Nov 1st when i go back to work. I may have to go back to taking naps in my car on my breaks. I do have a hard time sitting in an office type chair for too long, so that may be a problem also, as that is all i do it still all day. I guess we will see how things go.
I got a letter from insurance saying the assistant surgeon on my first surgery was not in network so they are not paying the $1000.00 bill, so i am not sure IF there is any thing i can do about that. Any suggestions??? I have not worked since Oct 4th, so no work, no money.....
I do think i have some deppression going on, as i cry at the drop of a hat, Today while visiting with Dr. Chae i prolly seemed like a blubbering idiot. But i just told him i want to be "normal" again, I tole him that i felt better before WLS, and fatter. I dont want to be like this forever. He and Kelly both re-assured me, as well as many of you fine people here have that it will pass, and soon i will feel GREAT! Gawd i hope so...SOON!
anyway i just wanted to update everyone.

I hope you meant down to 249 lbs, not 149! It takes time to adjust to the new routine of things. Depression is very common, along with lots of anger. If it continues more than a few weeks, you made need some additional help for a few months. Keep plugging away. Better days will come.

Yes i did mean 249, I went and changed it. Thanks!
Funny thing is my Dr put me on some anti-depressants, but i have a weird reaction to them, i dont like the way they make me feel. Kinda loopy, so i asked to be taken off of them. I just try to talk myself thru the "moments" I have struggled with depression most my adult life, and have never had good feelings bout the anti-depressant drugs. They just dont agree with me. I have tried Prozac, Wellbutrin, Exfexxor (sp?) man that one really did a number on me, and they tried this new one that started with an S while i was in the hospital.

Danette,

Hang in there hun. You'll make it through this time. Your hormones are on a rampage right now and it makes you more emotional. Congrats on the incredible weight loss!

Default Protein Shakes

I love the Unjury shakes. If you find you do not like what you what you got, you can get samples of the Unjury at Unjury.com. The chocolate tastes better than real chocolate milk to me. A friend of mine had trouble getting her protein also and what it came down to was she hated all the shakes she tried.

Good luck,

Hope
