Wow!

Thanks all for the many thoughts and prayers. I know I will need it. I am a nervous wreck right now. I just wish I was already knocked out. I am going to go eat something really good. No eating / drinking past midnight even though my surgery is at 1:00 PM tomorrow. I always get so dehydrated!

Hugs to all

By the way, I think it's really sh*tty that they're making you have two surgeries two weeks apart! I hadn't heard about the November 14 surgery--I haven't been able to keep up lately. What's up with that?

You know I'll be praying for you. God has a plan for everything. Just keep your eye on the prize, okay?

Love you lots, girlfriend.
Dara,

The Nov. 14th surgery can not be done at the same time due to risk of infection. I totally understand this one and will have to explain to you.
I missed the support meeting because I had to lay low and not expose myself to getting sick...you know how it is when it is crowded. I just had to stay home and rest. I will see ya soon though.

Hugs

Dale, Good luck with your surgery tommorow and on the 14th. I am sending good thoughts your way, keep your head up, you are one of my main inspirations for WLS even though I don't know you very well. I look up to you a lot. I hope everything goes well, I know it will, and please please let us know how you are so we don't worry, or maybe someone could post for you?
You have been through a lot and you deserve the best.

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

That is so sweet of you to say that I am an inspiration. I never think of myself that way. I will hope that my podmate Sandi will be able to post for me. She will call my husband to see how I am doing and I am sure she will post something if she has time. She is a very busy girl.

Talk to you soon

Dale,

Oh, you know, I think I know what you're talking about now. Is the second surgery related to what we talked about at Tracie's shower? If so, then I know why you have to undergo two separate surgeries. Darn...it doesn't make it any easier, does it?

Sweetie pie, I hope both surgeries go fabulously well. You definitely need to keep down those infections, girlfriend!

I already have good thoughts and prayers coming your way. Keep positive vibes in that teeny tiny head of yours, okay? You're just a wisp of a lady now!

Love you bunches and oodles...

Default Fast healing to you.

Get well soon Dale. I've said a little prayer for you. You're so brave and such an inspiration. Just tell the doctor to leave some elbow room for your guardian angels. I've asked them to tell the doctor's exactly what to do to help speed your recovery and help your body heal.

Hi Dale -

You are about 10 mins from surgery, from the looks of it, so you will be reading this after the deed is done! You're in Mike and I's prayers!
