Talking Same Problem

Mike, I V'e Lost Todate 143 And I Still Have A Bunch To Go. My Second Tool Shed As I Like To Call It Has Decreased In Size. I Was Told That I Will Probably Have To Have It Cut Off. I Think It Will Decrease In Size But I Think The Skin Will Hang Down. It Really Sucks, For Me It Is The Worst Part Of Being Heavy. Gets In The Way And Makes Things More Difficult. Im Sure You Know This. I Hope Someone Finds A Miracle Cream To Tighten Skin, Untill Then I Save For The Ps.

You people are hysterical!! a "gunt" that is the funniest thing I have heard in a month!!

It was so weird. After I lost my 100 lbs, I had a tummy tuck and boob lift. All of a sudden the 2 caeserian scars, the 12" kidney stone scar, the hysterectomy scar, and the anterior lumbar fusion scar were *poof* gone. I hope when I relose my weight, I will be able to return to a nice flat tummy. Of course 3 weeks after the tummy tuck, I lost my pristine pannus-less tummy to a lap gall bladder (emergency) and now if I'm lucky, another scar on the belly. Maybe I should just try to think of it as a skin mural...

Thanks
I am sure that as you go along this new stomach will get smaller. If you signature is correct you are down 40lbs. I am sure it will either get small or longer or flatter. Keep us posted. Enquireing minds must know.

What an interesting thread I have stumbled upon. Luckily it was not my gunt, that made me stumble!!

I feel lucky that I do not have too much excess skin. I am a big believer in working out through out the weight loss proccess. I know alot of people say the skin will not go back, but I think there is a certain amount of return and drinking lots of water helps, also.

I know many people who have lost alot of weight from wls and other ways as well, who do not have exteme loose skin. It takes a couple years it seems. After that, you're really not going to tighten up any more.

That would be a good time to get p.s. if you need it, or you can wait. I have a hernia and may not be able to wait. I have P.S. consult in a couple weeks. arggg!!
