The bird..... I can eat it IF I chew chew chew and IF I moisten it up some how. With gravy, low fat salad dressing etc. Canned chicken is much easier to eat and canned tuna they come in convient 3oz can now. It cost a little more for the 3oz can but I am more willing to eat it if I doesn't look like too much food. (weird I know) If it looks like too much food it overwelms me and can't seem to eat it. So try the canned chicken

This has me concerned. I thought chicken was going to be a staple for me - so that I could get in enough protein!! What are you taking in for protein?

I have been able to eat chicken from day 10. If it bothers you, choose the thigh meat cause it is more moist.
Good Luck

I agree with Marcia, chose the dark meat it is much moister than the white meat. The chicken breast is almost imposible to eat even for me being 8+ months out. I did notice that you were eating a drum stick. Try the thigh.... Or try the canned.

Protein sources I eat

Beans, chili, refried, bean soup etc
tofu
hamberger
steak
chicken
Tuna the main source of protein for me beside protein drinks
Protein drinks
Fish all kinds of fish
nuts - I usually eat almonds just my personal favorite. I add them to chicken dishes after cooking just to punch up the protein.
Cheese - 1 oz equals about 6 grams of protein.

I think that's about it.... There's probably more but my brain doesn't work to good at 3:30am. Trying to get tired enough to go back to sleep.
