Default Confession....................

Remember I told you I lost 38 lbs. and gain 5 lbs back. Well, 4 of those lbs came off the last 2 days.

So, you ask. What did I do differently?

Drastically reduced nuts - 20 per week
Increased water
increased protein - 2 shakes/meat meals
Under 20 carbs per day
No fruit
Exercise - well only 3 days per week

Oh, my indulgents are pork skins - chewed well, good and salty
Occasionally, 1/2 of a SF low carb small little cakes(50 cal./4 carbs) - I forgot the name of them. Delicious!

I'm in large ketosis - which I plan to stay in for 3-4 months, ok'd by Dr. Only eating protein and very, very, little veg.
I'm not hungry during the day and I'm feeling better about the tool. I'm sure it will turn on me again, but I'm ready!!

Wow Kimmy,
You're doing great. Glad to hear the pounds are coming off, and you're doing well.

I use ketosis sticks to gauge my ketone level. They're at your local pharmacy store.

Ask your doctor about ketosis. Some doctors don't want you to be in heavy ketosis. But, early on we all are in some level of ketosis.

My doctors says it doesn't harm you and that the body prefers to burn ketones.

Kimmy - I used those sticks at first too just to reassure myself I was burning fat.... (Left over from my many attempts with the Atkins Diet he he) I could also tell by the taste in my mouth.
