Jus curious..how long did it take your porthole wounds to heal?
I have 5, 3 are healed, but the one that the tube was in is not, and neither is one under my right boob. I was just wondering how long it took yours to heal up?

Hey Danette,
I don't know, but am curious as to everyone's answer. I am only 1 week post-op.

Mine were healed in 3-4 weeks.. I would put neosporin on them. The one that hurt the most was near my belly button. Good luck Suzy

Mine healed in one week. Healed so fast that they couldn't get the sutures out.

Ouch! Super Glue?
I have thought about trying some of that liquid bandaid. MAybe i'll try it. Right now i am just putting Neosporin, and a bandaid on it. But the one the tube was in, if i put anything on it, it stays moist all the time, so i am trying to let it scab up.

Mine looked really good by my two week check. Closed up properly and such. Has it been 3 weeks for you Pokey?
I call my Doctor's nurse over every lil thing I think might be an issue .. hehe. (my doc told me too!) So that is what I would do if I were you.

Those were the ones that took forever to heal for me too. Although calling your doctor if you are concerned is never a bad idea, I wouldn't stress too much. The drain site felt like it took forever, especially since it is an open wound. Just keep it dry and be patient, unlike me.
