Default Major Milestone

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share with y'all that I reached a major milestone in my weight loss journey today. I was here at work when I had the sudden urge to weigh myself even though I had done this 2 days ago (I usually don't weigh myself more than once a week). I stepped on the scale and it read 232 pounds for a total loss of 150 pounds!! I almost broke out into a Homer Simpson "WooHoo" right there in the Emergency Department waiting room. This is the same amount that I lost in 1997-1999 (via self-inflicted starvation), so from here on out I am treading on new weight-loss ground. With the support of my friends on this forum and some work, I will lose my final 30-35 pounds by my one-year on November 7. Take care, all.

Default Thanx

I want to than you all for your support and to answer you question, Kim, I feel absolutely fantastic. I have so much energy, no more reflux, and no more sleep apnea (anyone need a c-pap machine?). If I don't lose another ounce and feel this good, all the pain and hassles of denials, appeals, surgery, and complications was well worth it.

Default Another Milestone

Hey guys,
Just wanted to share that I surpassed another milestone. When I lost 150 pounds a few years ago, the lowest weight I acheived was 226 pounds. I weighed myself tonight before the support group meeting and that wonderful scale read 223 pounds, for a total loss of 159 pounds!! The feeling is almost surreal, kind of like being in a dream. I know it isn't a dream since I feel so good and so healthy.
