My doc told me that the pouch in the beginning is the size of a golf ball.

I wonder what it will be like when I get the wiffel ball size pouch?I have heard my Dr say "egg" sized but I'm thinking chicken...guess I got the fish sized egg.

Your doctors make big pouches! I was told the size of a thumb which is around 1/2 - 1 ounce. I'm surprized the size seems to vary so much. Maybe people who lose slower have bigger pouches? It would be interesting to find out. I'd rather start off smaller since it will strech out anyway.

Default Pouch size...

From the mouth of Dr. C - starting size=golf ball, 3mos=lime, 6mos=lemon If you want to know the volume of your pouch, he says, eat as much cottage cheese as you can in 5 min. hope this helps!

Yep, my doc said size of a man's thumb at the start. He said it should stretch to be a maximum of 8 ounces at or around 1 year.

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

Wow, the size of a thumb? I think that is extremly small even to survive. my doc told me its the size of an egg. an dit can get a little bigger with time. He also said we want to try and avoide the pouch from stretching.
