Default Hi, another new one...

I just found this site. I have been looking for a live chat, but the ones I have found labeled "weight loss support" have the same idiots in them doing internet dating as all the others. Phew!

Anyway. I had the Lap RNY on July 25th, 2005. So today is my 4 week anniversary. I have lost 28 pounds so far. I started at a size 26 pant, and yesterday I bought a pair of 20's that I can get on, button and zip... I jsut can't sit or go in public in them... .

I joined our local Y and have been excersising since last monday. I feel FANTASTIC already. Only 122 pounds to go to my goal of 150, and this time, I really think I can do it!

I have been reading many posts today, and I love this site already, I think.

Katrina, Welcome! You have an awesome weight loss right off the bat. I bet in a week or two you will be able to sit and go public in those jeans!

Katrina,

Welcome to the boards! This is an awesome place for advice, support, and information. It's just full of good and caring people. I can't tell you how much I have learned here. My surgery is a little over 2 weeks away. I feel so much more prepared because of this board. I also keep reading that support after surgery is the best indicator for success! It sounds like so far you are doing really fantastic. I hope that's me soon too.
