Well ladies I've been in the hospital for 2 days. I had a stricture. They opened me up a little. The hole was almost closed. Dr. provided pictures. I couldn't eat or drink a thing, not even water. I feel much better today. Yesterday after the scope I had so much gas I could hardly walk. I hope it gets better from here. Thanks for all of your advice.
3 1/2 weeks - down 32 lbs.

Hope all is better
I'm so sorry that you've been through this ordeal. I hope your feeling better ultra soon. We had the same surgery date, so I'm watching you girl.
I had some heavy swelling and spasming for quite awhile but finally loosened up after being put on previcid soluable. I can't imagine what your going through. Here we go together, one day at a time.

I was getting really scared to death because I have lost 45 lbs, and felt like I was not going to be able to eat anything. Well I started to calm myself down because everytime I would go to eat something my head would say oh here we go again you're going to get sick. Inevitably I started to turn the corner about six days ago and started branching out and eating diff protein sources like some EAS protein bars, string cheese, turkey slices and my stomach has accepted it all. I stopped the chronic dumping and I'm even able to drink fluids have been getting down almost 32 oz a day of water and today I'm drinking some crystal light with my liquid vitamins in it and haven't been able to tolerate any vitamins yet so be patient and try not to put too much pressure on yourself. Take care Suzy

Yeah, thanks to you girls. It started out with the protein shake and progress to water. I couldn't keep anything down. My DR is the greatest. He acted on it right away. He also said I might have to have another dialation. He wasn't sure. But for now I'm feeling a lot better.
They also checked my labs and they said it was wonderful. A little high on the protein side. The DR suggested I don't have so much protein throughtout the day. I was having two shakes and meat/cheese throughout the day. He said have a little more fruit and vegetables. Go figure! Well, I found out that watermelon is my friend. Thank god for that and for some reason I can get a nice helping in my new pouch. Not sure why, but it's satisfying.

I love the watermelon. When I couldn't drink enough I would eat that and it satisfied my thirst.

I'm surprised watermelon would be well tolerated because of all the natural sugar in it. It's good to know it probably won't be! I gotta have some sweetness.........mmmmmm.......juicy watermelon would sound good right now.
