I've been to the er several times and everything comes out great on my ekg.
I forgot to add I can only take tylenol because I tried the lortab and it made my sleep apnea horrible.

I am not a good sleeper in any case, but for the first nearly three weeks after my surgery, I could not sleep! So, I feel your frustration! I slept sitting up with three pillows behind me and one under each arm so I could rest without my arms falling asleep. But I slept about two hours to four hours a night, broken into an half hour here, an hour there for the first three weeks!
And I was active during the day, even hiking by the end of the three weeks and still could not sleep. I had fantasies about sleeping for the first few weeks, getting deep rest and then back to life. Instead, i was Wide awake and so frustrated and I also got the flu, so then I was not able to breath and sleep, LOL.
I have to wonder if it was a reaction to the re-routing that my body was just like-What the Hell did you do to me???
I am happy to report that it got better and for the past week, I have felt tired after I run around all day and I have slept well, in fact better than usual. Now if I could only get my pouch to accept food, I would be on my way.
The only thing I can suggest to you, which I did, was don't toss and turn and go nuts, cause if you are like me, you are WIDE AWAKE and not the least bit groggy at night, get up and do something, or surf the web , read a book, rent a movie. I felt like crap from not sleeping but during the day I was out and active hoping it would help kick me to sleep the next night.
