Thanks for the link, Kel. You posted this just at the right time. I have to buy some Miralax for my bowel prep for a colonoscopy.

Thanks for the link Kel - I could do with all the help I can get with that stuff.

I've printed one on my computer and printed one on DH's. I've also emailed everyone I know locally asking them to print me one off too!

I cannot believe the price of that stuff - I heard on the grapevine that Costco are supposed to have a generic but they've haven't heard about that at my store.

I'm taking it every day now (mostly just half a dose). I started going through the menopause earlier this year and I've become very sluggish. Add adhesions and a kink in my bowel and the merest hint of constipation is excruciating.

I'm glad someone is finding it useful. I can't live w/o it anymore.. and I think many of you know my poo has been somewhat legendary on this forum, lol. So I can tell you, I couldn't be happier with this stuff!

Corrine, hubby and I are now members of costco but we didn't find any generics, but their pricing on the miralax was good. FYI, though.. Costco wouldn't take any coupons, except their own that they have in their coupon books. Cassie had sent me a 5 dollar off coupon and I couldn't use it there

Diann- I take miralax, plus 2 stool softeners in the AM, 2 in the PM plus probiotics 2 in the am, 2 in the pm. Since the miralax, I'm finally going very regularly and have cut the dose to 1/2 a bottle cap. MUCH better!

You and I appear to have the same problem Kel.

Some days, if I'm feeling a little bloated, I take a couple of stool softeners at lunchtime too.

I'm frightened to think of what'll happen if the colace, stool softeners, probiotics and Miralax stop working. I best have the number to Roto-Rooter handy!
