Default How Many Carbs

How many carbs should we have per day. I am 9 mos. out and would like to know how many carbs I should eat. I asked my dr. but she says it depends on the individual. I really need to know atleast a round about figure. I started using daily plate and would like to have a good idea as to what my limits are.

Thanks for your help

I wasn't really ever encouraged to count carbs or fats... I just try to keep everything I eat at a 10:1 ratio of protein to calories and eat as few carbs as possible.

I think I heard somewhere along the lines that a typical meal should be 50% protein, 25% veggies, and 25% complex carbs, but for me at least, it seems like once I get my protein in, I never have enough room to think about sides.
