Default Best Probiotics

I know that everyone has their favorite type of vitamins, and I am sure probiotics are no different. I'd like to know what type of probiotics you take, why you think they are the best, and approximate cost?

Thanks in advance for your help! I had heard that adding probiotics might help with my grumbly stomach a bit, but if I am going to take them, spend money on them, then I want to be sure I am getting the best ones.

Sarah,

I wouldn't go a day without taking acidophilus/probioics.

Personally, if you're going to kick-start your system with a good probiotic/acidophilus for 30 days, then I'd suggest something like Culturelle (available from Walmart/Walgreens etc.

After that, you could drop to something like Nutrition Now PB 8 Pro-Biotic Acidophilus. You might be able to find it locally but this is the best online deal Nutrition Now PB 8

I agree with Corrine. She recommended the Culturelle to me and it has done wonders for me. Little on the pricey side, about $16 for a 30 day supply but I would never go back to not taking them again. I am so much more regular now that I have ever been, even pre op.
