Everyone is different. You'll have to experiment with them, in the privacy of your home.

I don't and have not had a problem with them. Good luck.

SOme people can tolerate tomatoes only if cooked. Others need to eat them raw. SOme can have one with skin on, others need to remove the skin. Tomatoes are fruit, so there is some sugar in them. You just have to try and bite and see what happens. Watch out for canned/jarred tomato products. They add extra sugar to them.

I tolerate mine best fresh, peeled, and lightly blanched.

I eat raw tomatoes right out of the garden with salt and pepper on them...

But like everyone has said...everyone is different, and if you want to experiment with different foods...do it at home

I eat them all the time with no trouble, but i stick to fresh ones. If you do want/need canned check your labels. Hunts has no sugar added whole tomatos and tomato sauce and it's reasonably priced and tastes great.

I love them Raw, soup, sauce any which way I can eat it with no problems for two weeks all I could eat were tomatos raw with a little dab of mayo it was so good but at the time it was the only thing I could eat that did NOT make me sick werid I know. But I got past it and went back to a better diet of protein.

Kelly was illustrating a point. The difference in the sugar content of fruit.
Strwberries VS Tomatoes.
tomatoes are naturally lower in sugar, they're okay, so are strawberries, just less of them.

Katy,
Would you be willing to share your recipe for salsa? If so, I would love to have it. Thanks

It is very simple to make
finely chop 2 serrano chilies
finely chop 2 yellow chilies
finely chop 2 jalepenos
finely chop 1 medium onion
finely chop 2 large tomatoes
finely chop a small amount of cilantro
mix all of the ingredients together and squeeze a small lime over it and mix.

You may add more or less of any of the ingredients for taste and hotness.
I just bought a kitchen plus 2000 and now it takes less than 5 minutes to make.
