Thumbs up Finally broke the weight loss stall

Whew!
I finally broke the weight loss stall I was on for almost 3 weeks!
I am at 207.4 now. I decided to change a few things and it worked. I stopped eating after 6:30pm. I started drinking my protein shakes again. I had stopped and was trying to get in all my protein with food, but I felt like I was eating too much. I also started exercising more. I added resistance exercises and crunches.
I also cut out all simple carbs. My nutritionist told me I wasn't getting in enough carbs so I needed to have crackers or mashed potatoes more often. Well, I decided to cut out those crackers and potatoes too.
Obviously the above worked, or my body was just ready to start losing again. I don't know, but I am glad to be losing again.

Oh- and I put on a pair of my old (mens) Levi's 501 jeans that are a 38" waist and I could actually zip/button them up! I wouldn't wear them out because they were a bit tight in the stomach but everywhere else they fit perfect! That is exciting. I bought those jeans when I first got pregnant with my son (they were a bit big, but my other clothes were too tight) so I didn't have to wear maternity clothes at the end of my senior year of high school.

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

Congrats! I finally broke my stall also and lost 7 pounds since that weekend in Tucson. I think the exercise has a huge part in it. Isn't it great!

Way to go! I had a stall a few weeks back and I found the culprit! I'm super busy with work and school so I bought a bunch of those cheese crackers with the peanut butter in them. I don't pay much attention to calories but figured they had some protein. Well, I started eating a pack instead of having meals. Silly, I know! I did this for weeks and I craved those crackers so bad. 200 calories a pack! Oh and the protein-3 grams. I started eating 3 bites of whole wheat toast 2 or 3 times a week for carbs and then whatever is in my veggies. I try to have potatoes or a bite or two of pasta once a week but I have found the less I eat them the less I want them. Your doing great!!!
