Default omG YAY....!!

Hi my favorite people!
A few months ago I went shopping for clothes and found this pair of pants I liked, but they didnt have a 26 so I bought a size bigger, a 28. I took them home to try them on and got PISSED that they fit perfectly.
I havent worn them in a while and decided to wear them a couple days ago, and they were loose!!! I could actually slide them off wiithout unbuttoning them!! YAY YAY YAY@ me!!!
I look in the mirror and i dont feel I look at all different, but I guess the clothes dont lie. The only thing I notice is that I can move a little easier.
I wasnt very good this week, The king died as ya'll probably heard and with hubby in the royal air force he had to work overtime which meant no transportation to the gym, and I couldnt drive myself cos of moronic rules like IT'S ILLEGAL FOR WOMEN TO DRIVE. But now he's back on normal schedule so I guess its back to the drawing board.
Does anybody know of any good (free) calorie counters and exercise trackers?

You have a doubly hard time making things work. What a crazy enviroment to live in. We take our liberties for granted here.

I can't think of any hand held counters you can get. I've seen people post about keeping track of it on-line at fitday. com, which is free.

Congrats on the weight loss.....you are on your way! What a bummer that you can't drive. I guess sitting her in my own little world I never thought of service men's wives having to follow customs like that......ugh. Do you have friends there at all? How long til you get to come back to the States? Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

Fitday.com is great for keeping track but falls a little short on the list of foods. I also use: http://www.dietfacts.com/. It is pretty extensive with all foods and restaurants too.

Congrats on your loose pants! It only gets better from here! I have heard that those elastic bands you can buy at Wal-mart here, are a great way to exercise without any equipment you can attatch them to door knobs and I think they work by using resistance. Just an idea!

The best site I have found is caloriesperhour.com. It has a huge list of activities, variations on how vigorous you are working it. You put in your age, height, weight, gender, and how long you are engaging in your activity, and poof! It comes up with how many calories you burned. It's got everything from ironing to sex--gentle to extremely vigorous!! It's really fun, and a good site if you want to be pretty exact in your cals in/cals out.
