Karen,
I be lovin' you too babybee!! LOL
I certainly realize how lucky I am, and blessed beyond belief with people who love and care about me so much... my mother always said to me, "bloom where you are planted", and here I've found the most beautiful garden of friends to bloom along with.....
Thank you too Karen, for your always ready words of encouragement. That night when the four of us met for the first time, you, Christina, Tracie and I, we've all just sort of clung to each other for support, at least I know I have, and, without you all , I wouldn't have gotten here....
Now this "garden" has simply grown into a meadow full of wonderful friends who I love and care so much about, it's simply amazing...
I send hugs back to you Miss Karen, and to you all ...

LOL Well, that's what she told me yesterday when she called to check on me and my sugar!
"Are you burping?" she asked. "Yes" I said,.... "Then you're doing it wrong! It's a learned experience" were her exact words! LOL You're good Christina, you hit the nail right on the head!
It's a learned experience, okay then, I'm learning.... just goes to show ya that you're never too old to learn~

Yeah for Sandi!!!
Sandi,
I'm so glad to hear that you're home and doing well. I was thrilled to come and see you in the hospital. I wouldn't have missed it for the world! You just concentrate on healing. Remember, each day gets better and better until this will all be a distant memory. Can't wait too see you at a meeting!

Thank you for the note!
Yes, I'm home, and taking one day at a time. I'm having an issue with "thunder in the nether regions", but, other than that, I think I'm doing well... I've only taken the pain meds twice, they've been filed away now, not to be used any more!
I was so happy to see you when you came around that corner, and my mother was so impressed by how much you had lost in such a short amount of time
Thanks again for the balloon, it sits in my livingroom where all can see it when they come in! "Congratulations?" they ask, Yes, that I finally made it to the "other side"!!!

Thunder
Sandi,
I'm so glad to see that you are still so full of life so soon after surgery! Tell me about the "thunder in the nether regions" girl! I'm 12 days out and let me tell you, Arizona is not the only place getting hit by monsoon thunder!!! Just keep your Gas-x handy and hopefully you will stay tethered to the ground!! We will have to get together soon, I just love reading your posts! Take care sweetie and remember, no air with those baby sips! Hugs.

Hi Pam!
I'm glad somebody else knows about the thunder! WHOA! LOL
I discovered my Gas-X today after several friends asked if I was taking it..... I felt like Homer Simpson... Doh!!! No, I hadn't been, but now, it's by my right hand along with my water bottle with a sport top on it to help me with that swallowing air!
Thanks for the encouragement Pam, YOU keep up the good work too girl!!
Hugs~
