My calcium does have vitmain D aslo. Wow I had no idea there was so amny vitamin rules. But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
FWIW - I was not a big fan of taking vitamins pre-op (at all), and I had diluted myself into thinking that I could get away with just the B-12 and some Flintsones post-op (big mistake). Some people just have to learn things the hard way

I know this might be an odd question but I was thinking of making up little baggies with all the things I need to take every day and I know that calcium and iron should be taken apart- but do you think its ok to put them in the same bag? I feel like a dork asking this...

A lot of people (me included) use a 7-day pill organizer. I use one with 4 compartments because I take iron - similar to this one: 7 Day, Four-A-Day Weekly Medtime Planner

Check out your local Walmart or Walgreens.

Thanks so much for all this info. I will going for my 1st post op visit this Thursday where they say I will be starting my vitamins. My nut had gone over all this, but it just seems so complicated to me....it is good to hear it over and over.

Do post-menopausal women have to take the iron? I would think I will for a while anyway because of all the blood loss I had during my surgery.
