Hey Annie/Leanne~
One of the first lessons you need to learn is to be kinder to yourself. Most of us got overweight in the first place because we did not know how to treat our pain and to treat ourselves with compassion. Halloween is past. So you are up a pound or two. Look at today, only today, and make your best effort to live it the right way. Make good choices. Get your protein in. Try to do a little moving around. Don't get overwhelmed; just deal with today. You can do it for one day. And when you wake up tomorrow, you have the chance to do it right all over again. Maybe you'll succeed. Maybe you won't. But stumbling is not failure. You are human. Forgive yourself and try again. Each day is a new chance to get it right and to stay on the healthy road.

Jenn OMG you look awesome. Those pics show your weight loss better than your avitar. WOW!
I want to thank everyone for their support through my candy crisis. I think that it is over now. I may not "dump" on sugar, but I found that if I eat too much without anything else in my tummy, I get a bit of nausea ( I am diabetic maybe it is the sugar??) And I don't like that feeling, so maybe that will be enough to keep me off of the candy. Funny, I forgot what a nut for candy I was. That was my weakness before. I loved gummy candy! (this time it was chocolate)
ardita thanks for what you said. I know that I am human, but I am also a perfectionist. So, I am not that good at forgiving myself. But I have tried to start each day over and concntrate on one day at a time instead of beating myself up over the past. I have found too that this surgery requires us to go one day at a time. One day my pouch will be able to handle something and the next day not.
Stress is eating me alive right now. My department is so messed up because we don't have a supervisor. And in special education, you need to have someone in charge in order to answer your questions. Not only did my building lose a supervisor, but the whole department got a new Director. Too many changes. And I have some rough students this year. So, I think that might be why I turned to candy. But I went shopping last night and felt a bit better, and didn't crave sugar. So, I guess things are looking up.

Thanks everyone for the complaiments…it was actually really shocking to see pics because like others have said I still see myself bigger. Not as big as I was but still bigger..does that make sense?
Annie- I am glad to hear you are doing better. Like you are saying one day at a time. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel for your dept getting another supervisor?

Hey NorCal! I've missed ya around here! Nothing new to report. My loss is so slow but still in the right direction. I'm jealous that you don't feel hunger. I definitely do, both head and real hunger. Maybe my VSG left somethingit wasn't complete! I don't know but appreciate that you don't have that battle and step away from the Easy Mac, girlfriend!

i was wondering where she has been too...i hope all is well with her!

Hey everyone! I hope all is well! I am doing fine, except I seem to have had a back attack. My sciatica acted up, so I have been not doing more than I should. I raked leaves for the first time in years yesterday, voluntarily!
I used to disappear when it came time for this arduous task. This time, I did it myself, when family was at work & school. Very rewarding, when you pace yourself, and then turn around and see a clear yard!
Jenn, you look so cute in the costume! I almost put on a costume on Saturday, but we never get anyone here, we are so far out in the country!
So glad you liked the recipe too!

You all are my inspirations. Even though I had my surgery in July, I always seems to look at your postings to see how you're doing. It seems like I am right where I need to be.
Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Hey MsRTBH we are glad to have you with us on our journey.
You have the advantage, you got double the friends, since you joined us, and July!
I hope your trip down Thinner Lane is a special one, and one that can be inspirational to others.

CELEBRATION TIME!!!!
I know that things have been negative coming from me lately, but today I get to celebrate. I was stuck at 203.5 for 2 weeks. Then yesterday I went to 200.5, and this morning (dat dat tah da!!!) I was at 199!!!! I am so happy that I can't describe it. I am in onderland finally!!!!! I think that I haven't been this weight since elementary school maybe or 7th grade. My total weight loss is 96 lbs, only 4 more to reach the century club. I never thought I would actually make it here. Nothing has ever worked for me before. I am so happy that I did this for myself. I would do it all over again too, no regrets for me.
Thank you all for your undying support, I would not have come this far with out all of you.
Ms.Ready, we are glad to have you here with us.
