Default Question for post ops

Ok I know this may sound a little silly but I thought: Hey how will I know if I don't ask. So here goes I was just wondering do they put you asleep when you have GBS or is it more like have a cesarean section where they keep you awake and just numb you up? Thanks.

This is a very MAJOR surgery! You are out completely. It might be of value to you to look through some of the old threads and look at what procedures there are and how they are done. Do some research on line as well.

One minute you've got 8 peope standing on top of you, preparing you for your surgery & the next minute you're in ICQ, with not one memory of what happened...

Except a little pain in your stomach.... and the feeling that you've just run a marathon.. (as you are veryyyyy tired)...

That's how it happened in my case anyhow....

; )
