Default stomach pains

I had my surgery on June 25 and still have severe stomach pains when I eat.
The only things that don't hurt are yogurt, jello, protein shakes and cheese. Is this normal? It doesn't hurt going down but it seems when it passes from the stomach to the intestines is when it hurts. HELP!!!
Thanks
Lisa

Exclamation Lisa

When in doubt, call the office. I think it is normal but are you taking your acid blockers and such?? Are you chewing well enough?? Are you eating something you shouldn't?? It could also be gas or something else but I would call either way.. I think it's normal but I could be wrong.. sorry I couldn't help more.. never be afraid to call them.. that is what they are here for.. they never gave me grief and trust me Dr. Callery had my phone number memorized.. and gave me his cell number as well.. lol

Default I feel the pain too!

Lisa,

I actually went in today for something very similiar. The changed my medications and added a new one. Instead of an acid reducer I am now on an acid blocker. I hope this works. My intake of food has been very little, but thank goodness for the protein shakes and my vitamines.

I agree, when in doubt, call!

Thanks for all your help. I did call the office. They have decided to do an EDGto see if my opening is constricted. I hope thats all it is. I'll keep you posted.

Stacie was talking about this very same thing this weekend. You should send her a message, she totally understands.
