Amazing!!!
I DID IT!! I HIT 100#s. It is so incredible to me. I want to celebrate, but with what? It used to be food.
It is really scary to me. In the past this is about where I'd stop. People are saying nice things, my clothes are big, I feel amazing . . .
I think my pouch has stretched.
I'm really afraid this will be it, and once again I will disappoint myself and everyone else.
Any wise words for me?

Think Positive......
Think positive!!!, I am 1 year and 2 months out and I still get scared I am going to gain my weight back its good to always have that in the back of your mind becuase that will always make you think about it and that will slow you down if you are eating more and more. Your stomach will not streach very much at all if it does at all unless you are able to eat sugars and a ton of food then you need to be careful but if you are eating a little more, you should be fine I can only eat about 3/4 of a cup of food but still get all freaked out about gaining weight, its funny cause I have noticed when I am eating often I feel like I am losing more weight I dont have a scale in my house at all I only weigh myself when I go to the doctor or to Walmart or my moms house and usually at Walmart I forget to do it and right now my moms scale doesnt work so its only when I go to the doctors which is not often. I think that weight is just a number you can not get fixated on the number on the scale because everyones body is different Someone can weigh 160 and someone else weigh the exact same and you could look completely different everyones body is different. If you feel great and your clothes are loose and your clothes size is getting smaller and the most important thing you are happy with how you look then that is all that matters weight like age is just a number. I weight about 162 right now and I wear a size 13 jean, I know a couple people who weigh 158 and 155 and they wear like a size 8 so dont even worry about the number on the scale feel good about yourself and be happy you continue to go down. Its important to feel comfortable in your own skin. Keep up the great work and great job so far I wish you continued success and happiness.

You are so right.
Its so hard for me though to be so close to a "goal" weight & have the scale stop, for a bit.Im 215lbs and being below the 200 mark seems so close & so far away. The scale is a bad bad thing to have in the house lol..But the inches do come off I noticed the more I seem to eat(good food) the more I loose too.
You know what is funny to me.I can now admit how much I weigh, before at 334lbs my husband didnt know my weight. When I had my kids I would whisper it to the doctors, like he didnt realize I was over 300lbs lol...Now I can tell people my weight without wanting to hide.

Congratulations! think positive! I know what you mean-I always have that lingering doubt that I will fail at this too BUT I'm trying very hard to change every aspect of my life because I REFUSE TO FAIL AT THIS! We have been through to much to go back. Good luck to you and try to just live your life without any doubts!

Congratulations Lori! I'm so very proud of you! What a great milestone!!!!
You aren't even one year out. It is my understanding that you will continue to lose weight until your body finds its set point. Calories in, calories burned equal = 0 gain/loss.
It scares me too that my stomach has stretched. I can eat a plate full of food. I just make sure the plate is filled with good choices and exercise every day, even though some days it may only be for 30 min. at a time.
Trust me, this 100 pound loss is not it. Celebrate the milestone. Buy yourself something special, take a mini vacation, go get yourself a massage, go to the spa for the day, splurge! You deserve it!
Congratulations again!

CONGRATULATIONS!! That is such a huge sucess. Celebrate with a massage, that is my plan for how I am going to treat myself when I eventually get the surgery and start hitting milestones.

Congrats on being in One-durland. Dont worry sugar pea, you CANT stretch your pouch but an ounce at the most. You are just learning to adapt with eating. Your pouch is more "sturdy" now and able to hold more, its not as sensitive to first foods.
Im 1 1/2 years out, but I can share with you that the first drink of anything I take in the morning is uncomfortable, i wonder if I will ever get used to that feeling. Do you feel that way ever?

Bridget...I'm with you, that first sip in the morning is blahhhhh. It's like my gut is saying "damn, are you throwing stuff in me again??????" But after that first sip and bite, then I'm fine.
Don't worry about stopping losing before 1 year out. Some people hit goal early, but I was told that the first year is usually due to the surgery, and any weight lost after that is just "icing on the sugar-free cake."
I had my resting metabolism tested, although I'm not sure how accurate it is, but according to that, I should be eating 2020 calories per day. Hell, I couldn't eat that in 3 days, but it's nice to know!
