Default High Protein Foods

I was bored and wanted to find different foods with MORE protein, so this is what I found.

It wouldn't let me copy/paste...so here is the link.

Good to know! Has anyone had duck? I'd like to try it some day.

I haven't had duck since I began my new lifestyle ... but I have had duck in the past and it's very good. Can be very greasy. But it has a lovely flavor.

I haven't had duck post-op, but I liked it a great deal... almost like a fattier steak.

I told my hubby tonight that I was going to purchase Duck to have for dinner one night. He did tell me that it is very greasy, naturally of course. I'm still game....and my boys normally like what I eat, so I wouldn't think that they'll complain.

I'm also thinking about this....I have a whole turkey in my deep freezer. That would be yummy!

Turkey, meat only, cooked, roasted 1 cup 41.05 Protein

That is a ton a protein for 1 cup of turkey!

I love chicken and turkey .. I haven't tried the Turkey yet .. but the chicken gives me issues. I can't eat much and it sits like a rock .. I hope turkey doesn't do that

I talked to my doctor about it and he said chicken is actually harder to digest than stewed beef or pork .. its more fiberous.

I never would have guessed that.

Duck sounds like it might be tasty. I'll have to try it! I had forgotten about turkey. I only love dark meat, though.
