Default *~February 2009 Staplers Post Op~*

Who says we can't just continue the thread under post-op. I see no reason to change everything. Sooooo hopefully, it will catch on and we can continue to keep in touch.

I am 8 weeks out and I am an emotional wreck too. Hopefully, this too will pass. Hang in there, things will get better.

This is definitely a place where FEBRUARY STAPLERS CAN KEEP IN TOUCH! Please, Please check in often

Hey I was 2/17/09 and am down from 255 to 217 in 8 wks(this last tuesday). I am an emotional wreck with wanting SOMETHING and can't have food or sugar etc. I have no money to shop and don't wanna try drugs and can't drink(which I guess is a good thing). I am stranded in the country living at my mothers b/c of this economy and can't find a job to save my life. I have no car and live 25 min from the nearest town. SIGH. Any comfort to be offered? Oh..AND I haven't lost ANNNNY sizes even though all together I'm down almost 60 lbs(I measure once a month and NOTHING)!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Feb 9th here, doing pretty good. The only problems I am having are finding food that I like to be able to get my protein in. Weight is consistently coming off. I'm very pleased with it. Vitamins are also a bit of a challenge, but I'm managing.

Chin up Zoe...You'll get there. Sounds like you need a hobby...Do you have a camera? I love taking pictures when I have nothing better to do. It feels wonderful finding things to take pictures of and seeing the results when I'm done. We live very near a lake, so I take my camera there all the time, pictures of my kids, the alligators, the birds, the trees, the water... Anyway try to find something to take your mind off the weight loss.

Hang in there Zoe...things will get better. I feel your frustration.....I feel the same as you. Noone has noticed the weight I have lost so far and I have lost only 3 pounds in the last 4 weeks. This is sooooo hard.

I had my RNY on February 17, 2009. What's the amount of food I should be able to eat at this point. This morning, I had about a handful of Original Special K with some milk, and I didn't feel full after I ate it.....What did I do to my pouch!? Last night, I was able to eat a grilled hot dog with a little ketchup. and no bun. I am concerned I can eat more than I should be able to for being 4 months Post-Op!!
