Red face Dump on Natural Sugars??

Ok....I need help. Before I take another sip of juice that says "No Sugar Added", I need to know if it's the natural sugars that are making me feel bad. I started experimenting with sipping on Juices as a break from Cystral Light (which I had been drinking since I left the hospital last Wedn.). My fiancee went out and bought a lot of different Juices that supposingly has no Refined Sugars in them. I sipped on 2 different types, Grape/Mixed Berry and Apple, on yesterday. The apple was soooooooooo sweet tasting and the Grape was ok. All day yesterday I felt semi-nausiated <sp> and had diarrehea (1st BM since before the surgery). This morning I have drank only water in fear that if I drank more of the juices, I would feel like I did yesterday. Can I NOT drink these juices? What else is there besides water and Crystal Light?

You may want to water it down a bit and not do it everyday. I drink a lot of Diet Snapple Iced Tea they have several flavors Peach (my fav), raspberry, lemonade, plum a granate. I also like propel, fruit2O, and aquacal. I also make kool aid with splenda (I love grape). I hope that gives you a little more variety!

Default no sugar added

Hi Yolanda,

I had the same problem with no sugar added juices.
And if you read the label on some of them the sugar is right up there as the regular juices.
I use light or diet juices now and I make sure to read the label, to make sure that the sugar content is low, I do not drink anything with over 12g of sugar.

Oceanspray you know those people that make the cranberrie drinks have a bunch of juices that are light and are mixes of cranberrie and other juices.
I have not had any trouble with them.

But everyone is different give it a shoot.

Thanks for the advice, maybe I should water it down a bit. I never tried Propel or Fruit2O, but I have tried the Oceanspray Light Mixed Berries (can't seem to handle this one). I have tried Dansani Water with Raspberry Flavor and it taste horrible like it's too heavy on the flavor. I would prefer something like water with just a hint of flavor.

What I can't believe is that I usually like Splenda, but when I tried an Oceanspray White Cranberry with Splenda in it, it couldn't take 2 sips. I'll try to look for drinks with less than 12g of sugar like you mentioned, I'll see if that helps.

I dump too on some of those different sweetners and stuff.... stinks. I get all shaky and feel all wobbily, I hate it. Trial and error I suppose. I can do Equal but I cannot tolerate Splenda.... hmmmmmmm.

I couldn't tolerate any juices...just water, Crystal Light, and Propel in the beginning...so I just avoided them all together.

Try filling up a glass 3/4 of the way with water then add a splash of juice. I do this all the time when I am in a water funk to mix it up a little bit. It works best with apple, white grape & O.J. Don't add too much only about 1 ounce.

Hope it works!
