I got mine at Target for $19.95. It's amazing!
Very cool I will check it out. Does it help with the sagging skin under arms? I have wings I tell you!!!

Katrina, I think you're doing so awesome. We all get burned out at the gym, but the fact that you're still going and doing something to stay active says a lot. You're still pushing yourself, and I, personally, am so proud of you. I know it still seems like a long ways to go for some of us; I still have about 70 to go, especially since the going is so slow, but we've got to just keep trudging on.

I laughed when I heard you had the shakeweight. I know you all have jobs and don't get to enjoy daytime tv. Ellen had them on and of course was going to town with all the jokes about em. Not saying they don't work, but just how funny and silly they seem. Oh! And then she was using one and just shaking it in front of her in an up and down motion-well, she says, 'Boy, this is sure and unfamiliar motion! I've never done this motion before!' (You have to picture her with it, looking like a hand job)

Carrie, Thank you for the positive support! I really appreciate it!

About the Shakeweight...it does help the bat wings. I seriously have 5 inches on each side form all the weight I lost in my arms and I am really hoping to tone them up a bit. I have only been using it for two weeks but it seems to be helping.
Ok and seriously it is a dirty dirty excercise,(i like it) but it works! I heard about Ellen! I laughed because when my hubby first saw me use it he couldn't stop with the jokes.

YouTube - Ellen Shakes Her Way to Health!

OMG! You just can't help cracking up at Ellen. She is soooo friggin hilarious! I am so jealous, Charlene! That would be too cool! You'll definitely have to let us know what day so I can DVR it and look for you in the audience. You'd better be dancin your butt off too!

Well, I'm about to start making some low cal pumpkin bread. Found the recipe online and it doesn't seem too bad, so I'll let you know how it turns out! I am just in love with all of the fall squashes and veggies that are out right now. I'm gonna make an acorn squash for dinner too. They are really good in Vit. A, which I am still deficient in, so hopefully these are helping! Maybe next week i'll do some roasted butternut squash with balsamic vinegar. MMMM!

OH my gosh Ellen was so funny...Maybe I should get that since I am no longer doing cardio only weights....Like I said I walk all day for my job.
My son is bringing me heavier weights to use so it will be al toning for me for a while....I have to go for my blood work for my liver to see if the numbers got better if not than I have to go to the specialist...Last set of liver enzymes it only came down a couple of numbers so if it doesn't get better I have to see what the heck is going on....I asked if it had anything to do with the fact they took a hunk during the wls and she said no...It's something else..so we'll see....

Ok I did not go to the gym this morning. Not sure if I ate something bad or what but I was up all night with cramping in my upper stomach. No nausea just cramping. I finally took one of my prevacid and was finally able to go to sleep. Needless to say after only 2 hours of sleep, I was in no shape for the gym. Feeling a little better now but it is still there some. Thinking I might have eaten something bad last night. Took my stepson out for his birthday and had a crispy shrimp taco. I only took 3 bites because it just did not taste right, too fishy, so not sure if that was it or what. Oh well planning on going late since I am working from home today.
