Angry I just want to throw something!!!

Ok I know this seems harsh but I am so frustrated I feel like never going back to Dr. Callery's office again!!! I called today to confirm my 1:30 Appt that was made over a month ago for my 3 month post op appointment. Alicia said that my appointment was at 9:15AM. Ummmm NOOOOOOO It was at 1:30 so there must have been a mistake. Now I have to wait until the 27th to go in. I told her I may as well just wait for my six month check up by then.. afterall I will be closing in on 5 months by the time I get my 3 month check up in.

She said ok well do you want to schedule in September for your 6 month?? Well, yeah!!! But I also want to do the 4 1/2 month check up too.. Afterall my Insurance DID pay for that one too!!! I am so frustrated and I know it isn't Dr. Callery's fault or anything but I feel as if I am just a number at this point.. like ok we got paid for our services now screw you!!! I told her I was frustrated.. I still have not gotten the official results of my upper GI I had done over a month and a half ago.. I still continue to vomit from time to time I get nauseous and feel like I have to lay down quite often.. whats the deal??? I know I am just bummed about my appointment being screwed up but still.. it is frustrating. I mean I had to wait forever to get into the Educational Seminar and even to get my 3 month appointment and now there was a communication problem as they put it and my appointment was at another time.. however I called a week ago and confirmed the time and it was at 1:30PM. hmmmmmmm and no voice mails telling me the time was changed.. I don't know whats going on but I don't like it. Sorry I had to vent. I feel better now. Just frustrated because I really needed to talk to them about things that are going on with me and it seems as if Dr. Callery's office is way too busy for post op patients. Oh well.. I guess I can wait another two weeks!

Default Call Kelly!

Call Kelly, explain the mix up and ask if you can get you in sooner. I would also call and speak with Leslie the office manager and let her know what happened and how frustrated you are. If you stay calm and polite and just explain the problem, they might be able to help you out. Unfortunately, there seems to be a lot of complaints about Alicia

Hang in there,
Mary

Default Mary & Jeana

Thanks girls for letting me vent. I am so frustrated. I also have a problem (due to my own fault) for going to Knott's Berry Farm and riding a certain ride I should have avioded.. as soon as I got off the ride I felt as if my incision had opened back up. Now there is some signifigant bruising all around my incision site and I am still in a lot of pain. Kelly is out for the rest of the day but I may call Leslie and see what I can do. I already scheduled the time off of work to go and now it is a bust! It is frustrating but I do know that the major problem I have now is MY Fault!! LOL I am just worried I don't think it should still hurt after two days and still have a stabbing sensation in the incision site. Oh well.. time will tell I guess... thanks again.. and Jeana thanks for everything girlfriend.. I love ya..

Hang in there Christina and do call Leslie. I have found that Alicia is very short with me and I feel like she doesn't like me....although she doesn't even know me! Leslie is always concerned and polite. Let us know what happens. You deserve the time with Dr. Callery. You have been through a lot.

Default Thanks Bridge & Dale

Hey Guys thanks.. I am going to call but I am thinking I should just chalk this up to being a Monday.. everything seems to be going down the crapper today. I am eating my lunch now. And I just spilled my salad dressing all over my sweater and I have to conduct an interview very shortly.. nice impression I will make.. lol

This time it was MY Fault Bridget as far as the incision is concerned.. I should have known not to go on that one ride.. lol

Oh well.. you all take care and thanks for being there for me during my temper tantroom.. it's over now.. lol

Smile Tomorrow Morning

I called back and was very friendly with Alicia and explained the situation and low and behold they actually had an appointment for 9:45 tomorrow morning. Go figure... lol So I will be going in there and they better see me!! hehehe Ok enough crankiness for one day.. but it has been an awful day for me. Nothing is going right.. not even my eating. I keep throwing everything up today same as yesturday.. I can't seem to keep anything down.. I will try a sugar free popsickle later when I get off work to keep some type of fluid in me.. please don't tell me I am doing jello for dinner!! LOL I am so not feeling good.. I stayed in bed most all of yesturday just dizzy as heck when I would get up so I figured if it were the flu it would be gone by now. I can't seem to shake what I have but of course my employer is taking his sweet azz time getting our new insurance packets for us.. so I've been without health insurance for almost two months.. this is rediculous and I told him as much. I told him if by the end of the week I don't have some type of coverage I am outta here!!! And he knows I mean it so hopefully he will get the ball rolling because I have had it with everyone and everything today!! LOL Aren't I just a cranky one??!!?? LOL Sorry everyone this is very rare for me but seriously I feel like crap and should be able to go to my Dr's but I can't because somebody doesn't give a flying hoot about his employees I guess.. Stuart didn't you say you may be having an opening there soon?? LOL Gonna check the website.. hopefully you have something somewhere.. shoot if I get kicked in the stomach there it is just one more thing to deal with but at least I know I will have insurance right?? LOL After my probation period that is..

Girlfriend,
When something like that happens, and you with your history of that crazy incision of yours, just appear at the office, tell them you NEED to see what ever doc happens to be there, and you'll wait! You can't take any chances, even though you DID, *cough* getting on that ride, was it fun LOL I hope!!!
Take care honey!!! Come by to see me afterwards, I'll be waiting patiently, somewhere in the hospital!!
I hope you get a good report from Doc C tomorrow!!!! My fingers are crossed for you!!
HUGS!
Love ya!!!

None of us could stand not knowing.. well girlfriend I will call your cell as soon as I get up in the morning or call the hospital and get your room number and hopefully I will see you before you get carted down to surgery. If not hopefully I will be able to see John is he going to be in the waiting room?? I'll call ya tonight and talk to you ok girlfriend...

P.S. NO the ride sucked!!! I don't like spinning rides where you spin upside down.. I didn't realize the ride was like that. We were the first ones on it so I didn't see it run.. otherwise I would have never done it.. my bad!!
