Default I'm home, finally!

I just got home from the hospital. Surgery went well, but had complications. A blood vessel I guess popped and they had to go back in for emergency surgery that night. At that point I was just worried for my life, the weight loss was at the back of my mind.

I'm doing well now though, all bloated and all I tolerated Jello's and all that good stuff really well and finally got outa Philly (Thank god).

Doc says that I'm gonna be a little more sore than most people are since they had to go in twice. I kind of knew what to expect after my appendictomy 3 years ago.

Anyway, just wanted to update you all on my surgery.

...and oh yeah.. I GAINED weight. I'm sure it'll come off real fast though!

Glad they caught the problem quickly, and even more glad you're home and safe.

Glad your home safe and pray your recovery will go quickly. I still have to stop myself from doing too much and remind myself I just got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago. Be sure you get enough water in every day. This is my biggest problem and find I'm getting dehydrated.

Hehe thanks for the warm words guys. They wanted to keep me until Sunday, but I got them to let me out early. I feel fine now, not the greatest but I'm on the other side finally and alive! I'm thinking that I should not be feeling as good as I actually am. But dammit, I wanna go see War of the Worlds already. Oh well, I'll have to wait a lil bit for that.

Good luck to everyone who's surgeries are coming up in July, it will be here before you know it!

I am so glad you are home and doing good! Wow that was quick with complications too! Did they go back in thru the existing incisions?
Definetly get into the habit of drinking lots of water, especially since you are coming back to Arizona soon, it is so easy to get dehydrated here! I have been struggling too, just like LadyGigi.
Anyhow, I am glad you are home safe!

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.

Glad to see you back and see you doing well. I'm glad everything turned out okay for you. You gained weight from all the fluids they pump into you at the hospital. That will come off pretty quick but for now stay off the scale.
