Hey ya'll, today marks my first week post op and I feel much better. It's been one crazy week with my emotions and my achy body. But I guess its paying off since I've lost 10lbs. I lost 5lbs then gained it back just before surgery which made me 250.1lbs, now I'm 240 even! I haven't seen that scale go down for the past two years- its a nice feeling.

It really IS a nice feeling, isn't it! Get used to it, because the pounds are going to keep coming off! Mine goes up and down a little each day, but overall, it's a downward trend. I try to stay off the scales for two weeks at a time, but it's hard!

Hang in there! From this point on, each day will get better and better. Eventually it will be like having a baby... you'll forget the pain of it all down the road a little ways!
